i have not been out/shopping in so long, that when i do… it’s going to be damaging. damaging to 1. my physical health – walking around for hours to compensate, 2. my mental health – stressing over finding something to buy to compensate, worrying about how much i’m spending and 3. my bank account. but all is good, i haven’t been shopping in week, so i got money to burn!
still on the hunt for a formal dress. someone send me something amazing…

so i’ve done 3/5 of my trial exams, i spend most of my days bumming around school trying to finish my major works for design & technology: which i am doing unconventional chandelier lighting (the design folio that goes with it is a killer) and visual arts: where i’m doing a collection of works involved both photography and sculpture. the work is all about the factors that affect ones growth and development, specifically in adolescence… it’s due very, very soon and i don’t have much finished at the moment.

hopefully all the money i have not spent during my thoroughly bland weeks of studying will eventuate in the following:

i also have to keep my eyes open for a smashing year 12 formal dress/outfit… fun to look forward to!

i’ve given up on studying for the weekend. what i’ve learnt from my studying experience is that i’m not particularly good at it: i struggle to sit still for long hours and i feel the need to reward myself afterwards… i’ll just hope i can get through with natural ability which has worked successfully for the past six years.
the dead weather is a band on my ‘study playlist’ (it would make more sense if i listened to some classical, something that can cause that mozart effect on my brain) amongst -lots of- radiohead, franz ferdinand, nirvana, the strokes and some joy division… in my occasional ‘study meltdowns’ i browse all my favourite blogs and websites, browse on my top e-boutiques, check all the social networks and watch random clips on youtube… which is how this clip ended up on the stolen orchid…
sorry for my lack of posting, i’ll promise to come back after exams with cool new stuff and the regulars.
i’m also turning eighteen in less than a month (about the same time my exams finish) which means i can finally get into clubs, bars, 18+ gigs and festivals. but the point of this rambling is not about me, it also has something that concerns you. and that, you’ll have to wait and see…
so until the next time i manage to post…
