So at the moment I am doing the notorious ‘Schoolies’ holiday for the freshly graduated here in Australia, Gold Coast in Queensland to be exact. It is the third week of the program and it is absolutely dead. Where are all the wild drunken idiots and tardy girls? The street fights, drugs and occasional passed out person who is simply too drunk to move a muscle. Shops don’t open until late and there is an alarming lack of style on the streets… really! I felt the compulsive need to find a dirty internet cafe to hit the blogs and update myself on everything that is happening whilst I’m at this sleepy little town. More conveniently my hotel has internet facilities which makes this task just the slightest bit more enjoyable for myself. So here is a net-a-porter gathering of my (overdressed and bizarre, for Gold Coast anyway) wardrobe style.

Charlotte Lohmann has been on my radar for a while now, popping up in numerous fashion magazines and runway shows. This Australian beauty’s exotic looks come from her Indian/Fijian and German background. At 18 she is definately one of Australia’s upcoming models, (how commonly said is that these days) Charlotte has made an international appearance for the Pre-Fall 2010 Rachel Roy collection. Being discovered at a Girlfriend Model Competition, Charlotte is another model to prove the successful scouting of the annual competition. Keep your eye out for this beauty!
